SalesLife Commerce on WhatsApp

WhatsApp commerce for retailers, connected to your stock, prices and ERP

Your customers already live on WhatsApp. SalesLife Commerce puts your catalogue, orders, payments and loyalty in that conversation, while stock, prices and posting stay in SalesLife HQ and your ERP.

Eight WhatsApp use cases across the customer journey

Receipts and invoices

Send the receipt or tax invoice to the customer's WhatsApp at the till, with email and SMS as alternatives. Delivery is queued, so it still goes out after a brief outage.

Order by message

Customers browse a live catalogue and place a pickup or delivery order in chat. It lands in the branch fulfilment queue like any other order.

Pay-now with M-Pesa

A payment request is sent to the customer's phone for an STK Push, and the order is released when the payment is confirmed and reconciled.

Order and delivery updates

Confirmed, being picked, ready for collection, out for delivery. Customers stop calling the branch to ask.

Loyalty in the conversation

Points balance, tier progress and offers, using the same programme as the till card and the Customer App.

Reorder reminders

Prompt regular shoppers and stockists to repeat a past basket, using real purchase history and live stock.

Quotes and statements for trade customers

Send quotations that carry an expiry and convert to a sales order, and share statements and payment reminders with credit-account customers.

Promotions with consent

Share offers only with customers who opted in, targeted by store and tier, using prices and promotions from SalesLife HQ.

An order that starts in WhatsApp

The conversation is the front door. Everything that needs to be right, such as stock, price, payment and fulfilment, runs on the commerce engine behind it.

FAQ

Common questions

Can SalesLife send receipts on WhatsApp?

Yes. SalesLife delivers receipts and documents by WhatsApp, SMS or email, and delivery is queued so it is retried if the connection drops.

Can customers order on WhatsApp?

Yes. Customers browse the live catalogue and place pickup or delivery orders in chat. Orders arrive in the same branch fulfilment queue as orders from every other channel.

Can customers pay with M-Pesa in the chat?

Yes. A payment request is sent as an M-Pesa STK Push to the customer's phone, and the order is released once the payment is confirmed and reconciled.

Do we need the WhatsApp Business Platform?

For automated or high-volume messaging, yes. Business-initiated messages must use approved templates, and customers must opt in. We help you plan the set-up.

Who answers customers when automation cannot?

Your team. Conversations can be handed to a person with the order history visible, so the customer never repeats themselves.
