SalesLife 365 for Retail and Point of Sale is an extension for Dynamics 365 Business Central. It receives POS sales from SalesLife Central, posts them to your ledger, and adds loyalty, routes, approvals and retail analytics inside Business Central, so finance and retail operations work in the system they already know.

Items, customers, vendors, tax types, payment methods and price lists are owned and changed in Business Central.
Business Central writes new and changed records to Central, and unchanged records are not sent again.
Branches pull products, prices and customers, and trade locally, online or offline.
Sales are pushed from the branches, and Central checks that every reference is known before it releases a sale.
Each sale posts with its cash receipt by payment method, and refunds post as credit memos with a refund journal.
The Business Central document number returns to Central and the branch. Anything that failed waits in an exceptions worklist.
| Flow | What moves |
|---|---|
| Master data to Central | Units of measure, tax types, item categories, currencies, payment methods, locations, regions, routes, salespeople, customer price groups, customers, vendors, ship-to addresses, items with barcodes and unit conversions, and price lists. |
| Sales to Business Central | Till sales with their lines and payments, imported on a schedule you control and posted in their own transaction, so one failure never stops the run. |
| Acknowledgements back | Each posted sale is acknowledged to Central with its Business Central document number, and the branch sees the result. |
| Stock | Stock balances by item and location, sent when the quantity changes, and stock transfers in both directions. |
| Purchasing | Purchase transactions and stock requisitions staged by Central and posted to Business Central. |
| Loyalty | Points and rates, so the balance at the till and in Business Central agree. |
Cash, M-Pesa and bank receipts, and liabilities such as vouchers, gift cards and loyalty, are routed to the G/L accounts you choose, by payment method.
A refund posts a credit memo and a refund journal line for each tender, so the cash goes out the same way it came in.
Each tax type and rate maps to a VAT posting group, and a sale with an unmapped tax is flagged instead of posted wrongly.
Before an export, each record is compared with what Central last accepted. Unchanged records are not sent, and a failed record is retried on the next run.
