Brand standards at every outlet
Maintain products, price lists, promotions and discount rules centrally, and publish them to every outlet.
A franchise works when every outlet looks and trades like the brand, and every owner still runs their own business. SalesLife gives the franchisor control of the range and prices, gives each franchisee their own books and users, and shows the franchisor how every outlet is doing.
From an empty outlet to trading, with nothing typed twice.
Enter the branch code and name, the numbering prefix and the number of tills in SalesLife Central.
A one-time code, valid for a day, is stored only as a hash. A lost code is replaced, never recovered.
Open the code on the till PC. The branch receives its credential, which is kept in the Windows credential store.
On its first pull the branch receives products, prices and users from head office.
Tills sell against the local database, and sales sync back as they happen.
The branch shows as online within a minute, with its app version, and any alert appears on the Home page.
Maintain products, price lists, promotions and discount rules centrally, and publish them to every outlet.
Copy the catalogue, price lists, promotions and customer groups from an existing organisation to the new one. History, people and credentials are never copied.
Receipts, gross sales, tax, refunds and net for each organisation over a period, in one report that only the franchisor sees.
Each outlet's sales are captured once at the till and held centrally, which gives both sides the same numbers for reporting and fees.
Each franchisee has its own company, currency, KRA PIN, branches and users, and its own link to its own ERP.
Offline-first selling, M-Pesa and card, and KRA eTIMS signing, whatever the connection.
A new outlet connects to head office with a one-time code and receives the range, prices and users on its first pull.
Loyalty accounts and gift cards belong to the organisation, so a franchisee's customers are theirs.
| Area | How it works |
|---|---|
| Range, prices and promotions | Set by the franchisor and copied to each franchisee as a starting point, or maintained in the franchisee's ERP. |
| Books and tax | Each franchisee keeps its own company, VAT and fiscal set-up. |
| Users and branches | Each franchisee manages its own people and outlets, with roles and branch scope. |
| Visibility | The franchisor sees a sales roll-up across organisations, and can open an organisation as an administrator where it holds a user. |
| Licences | Tills and users are licensed as a pool, which the franchisor splits across organisations. |
Yes. Each franchisee is its own organisation with its own company, currency, tax numbers, branches and users, connected to its own ERP.
The franchisor sees a roll-up of sales, tax, refunds and net by organisation. It does not see a cross-organisation view of customers, loyalty or stock.
Copy the set-up from an existing organisation, connect the outlet with a one-time code, and its tills receive the range, prices and users.
Yes. A franchisee on a different Microsoft account becomes its own customer, so its staff sign in with their own identity.
Yes, for organisations that take the franchisor's price lists. Changes are published to the outlets' tills.
